Today I announced it officially, I am leaving Madrid and my job in July.
Don't know what awaits me professionally in Zurich, but still... Can't go on like this. Iberia frequent flyer points are not so worthy...
I feel a weird mix of sadness-happiness.
On the one hand, I am sad because I'm gonna miss the people of my office cause they are a lot of fun, and I am sad because somehow I know I am never gonna work in this field again and I don't know what I am gonna do next.
On the other hand, the nights of feeling guilty for putting D's life on hold, the nights of crying because I miss him are all over and we can re-start to live again, so I am happy. I am happy to know that now I can be happy, and we can be together. Plus, I feel relieved my running around the airports is over, my days of stressing about when to do the laundry/when to go to the dry cleaner/when to go to the hairdresser/etc are over.
